Bollington Art Group is a thriving art group based in Bollington near Macclesfield. Founded in 1964 we  have a membership of 100 and a short waiting list. (An interesting article on our history can be seen here). We run a programme of tutor-led courses throughout our year and hold an annual exhibition of members' work. Our tutors are mostly either qualified art teachers or recognised professional artists.

Generally the programme is broken down into roughly six week courses with a new tutor for each course. The topics might be subject based or media based.We also hold demonstrations by local artists to which non-members are cordially invited, and one day workshops, which are for members only.
